There are around 30 young people’s performing arts projects currently or recently funded by the Wellcome Trust. The projects are spread around the country and include work by and for diverse groups of young people. They deal with a range of themes from epidemics to left-handedness through media such as dance, drama and live arts.

Projects have taken different starting points but all are united by an imaginative approach to the topic and creative interaction with their audiences. We encouraged projects working on small, local scales as well as larger scale national tours.
