Through its Integrative Animal and Human Physiology initiative, it provided funding for the London Pain Consortium, a collaboration among key pain research laboratories based in different academic institutions around London. Pain researchers are eligible to apply for funding for research through the Wellcome Trust's biomedical research funding schemes and its technology transfer awards. The Trust has also supported public engagement projects based around pain, including 'Feeling Hurt' and 'A visual language for pain'. Public engagement projects tackling pain are eligible for funding through the Engaging Science Programme. Contacts The Pain website is produced by the Wellcome Trust.
