'Medicine in context' exhibitions at the Science Museum
Medical science is based on curiosity and wonder. But it also relates to everyday life. The 'Medicine in context' exhibitions look at medicine through a mixture of science, art and history.
Collaborating with the Science Museum, the Wellcome Trust is working here to raise awareness of biomedical science and how it affects people's lives, past and present. Many of the objects on show come from the Wellcome Collections, originally gathered by Sir Henry Wellcome and now mainly kept in the Wellcome Library and the Science Museum stores.
