Fruit fly embryo

Confocal microscope images of a Drosophila (fruit fly) embryo in which the nuclei are stained pink and are condensing in the process of forming individual cells. The first (top) is a reconstruction of all the optical sections taken with the confocal microscope, while the other two are individual sections in the series.
