Stefanie Hafner’s photographic exhibition, ‘Outside Looking In’ at the TwoTen Gallery shows the day-to-day school life of young children with autism. The images were taken at the TreeHouse School, which is a parent-led educational charity for autistic children in London. Collectively, the photographs provide a glimpse of the school’s pioneering educational methods while showing the reality that underpins the lifelong condition of autism.

The exhibition one of the events marking Autism Awareness Year runs from 1 - 31 October 2002.
