Advanced Courses and Scientific Conferences

Advanced Courses and Scientific Conferences are held in dedicated facilities at the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus in Hinxton, a short distance from the historic city of Cambridge.

Advanced Courses Advanced Courses provide training in the latest laboratory techniques and data-analysis tools for PhD students, postdocs and clinicians. The programme is subsidised and bursaries are available for applicants from anywhere in the world.

Scientific Conferences Scientific Conferences aim to foster discussion and debate at the cutting-edge of biomedical research. In addition to large-scale conferences for up to 300 delegates, the programme includes smaller meetings and schools focusing on specific research areas.

Workshops Workshops offer intensive, hands-on training in web-based resources and analytical software across a range of biomedical research disciplines.

Overseas courses We run a number of courses and workshops outside of the UK, catering for regional research communities in South America, Africa and Asia. Our overseas courses are free to attend and travel bursaries are available.
