Big Picture: special issue on influenza published

This one-off issue examines the nature of influenza, the drugs and vaccines that can fight it, the current H1N1 pandemic, how H1N1 compares with previous strains, and what international and national bodies are doing about it.

The Big Picture series is a free educational resource for use in the classroom, designed to provide teachers and post-16 students with up-to-date information on areas of cutting-edge biomedical science, including the ethical and social implications. Published twice a year, each full 16 page print issue is accompanied by many other games and resources.
