Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellowships in Clinical Science open for applications

Applications are open for the Wellcome Trust’s Senior Research Fellowships, which help scientists establish themselves as research leaders in clinical medicine.

The Wellcome Trust's Senior Research Fellowships in Clinical Science provide support for clinical investigators to develop their research potential. They aim to help the brightest clinical scientists establish themselves as leading investigators in clinical academic medicine.

The scheme supports research across the Trust's scientific remit, from laboratory-based basic research to clinical, population and public health studies.

Each Fellowship provides five years of full salary support and research costs, which is potentially renewable.

Applications are welcomed from researchers with no more than 15 years' clinical and research experience since their first medical, dental or veterinary qualification who are accredited, or close to accreditation, in their clinical specialty.
