Poet in the City – an education project run by the Poetry Society, which aims to improve literacy standards and develop an interest in poetry among disadvantaged young people – is organising an event exploring the interaction of poetry and science.
The event, to be sponsored by Pfizer Limited and held at Wellcome Collection in July 2007, will include readings by poets Jo Shapcott, Maurice Riordan and others.
