update: A date with your maker

10 January 2007

A symposium looking at humankind's ceaseless attempt to cheat death will be the first public event to be held in Wellcome Collection.

'Postponing the Inevitable' will take place on the evening of 22 February 2007, in Wellcome Collection’s empty galleries, before exhibition items are installed. It will premiere a series of specially commissioned short films made by Onkar Singh Kular and Noam Toran, combining traditional and modern examples of near-death experiences.

The film installation will then be available for showing in film festivals and events across the country.
