Several new Senior Research Fellowships have been awarded or renewed recently, including the following:
Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz (University of Cambridge; renewal) – Control of cell fate and developmental destiny in the early mouse embryo.
Ajit Lalvani (Imperial College London; renewal) – Features of immune response associated with effective protection against tuberculosis. Dr Lalvani is moving from Oxford to work with Peter Openshaw at Imperial.
Britta Urban (University of Oxford) – Cellular immune responses in children with Plasmodium falciparum malaria, working with Kevin Marsh at the Wellcome Trust's Major Overseas Programme in Kenya.
Alison Elliott (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine; renewal) – How parasitic worm infections affect immunisation and the incidence of infections in children in Uganda.
