Launched in February 2005, the eGrants system has proved a popular option with grant applicants. It has been developed in close partnership with institutional administrative offices and is integrated with their systems.
The eGrants system will be in place for the next couple of years.
Meanwhile, a project has begun to create a radically new system that will encompass grant application and management, refereeing, and committee review.
This new system is currently scheduled for rollout in 2007.
