New awards from the Engaging Science grants programme are being launched this month to support academic research that aims to advance knowledge about public engagement with biomedical science.
Under the new scheme, named 'Society Awards: Research', the Trust is inviting applications for grants of £50 000 upwards for research projects that consider the social, cultural, ethical and historical issues related to biomedical science.
The Awards are being launched at the Complexity, Science and Society Conference at the University of Liverpool on 12 September.
