Research Resources in Medical History

3 May 2003

The Research Resources in Medical History grants scheme has been extended for a further two years and will run through 2003 and 2004. An additional £1 million has been allocated to the scheme, which supports the conservation, preservation and cataloguing of documentary collections, and projects improving access to these and other medically important collections.

The previous scheme, run in collaboration with the British Library, ran in 2001 and 2002. The 2003/2004 scheme is being administered by the Wellcome Trust. The scheme is open to any type of institution in the UK, including libraries and repositories in all sectors, and collaborative programmes. Preliminary applications for 2003 must be received by 15 October 2003.
