Medicine Man

26 June 2003
After Sir Henry Wellcome's death, his vast collection of over a million anthropological artefacts was distributed to other institutions in the UK and across the globe. Now, 700 of these items have been recalled from their diaspora and reunited in 'Medicine Man: The forgotten museum of Henry Wellcome', an exhibition at the British Museum. The exhibition is open from 26 June until 16 November. Admission is free.
