Professor Lucilla Poston

Professor Poston holds Tommy's the baby Charity' chair of Maternal and Fetal Health at King's College, London. Originally a cardiovascular physiologist, Professor Poston moved into obstetrics research through her interest in vascular function in pre-eclampsia. Since taking up the Chair, Professor Poston has developed a multidisciplinary team of scientists and clinicians (the Maternal and Fetal Research Unit, GKT School of Medicine) whose predominant research interests are in pre-eclampsia, pre-term birth and the fetal origins of adulthood disease.
