About Grants Management at the Wellcome Trust

It strives to achieve this through its relationships with key customers:

In particular, Grants Management:
- provides guidance and advice to members of the external community before and during the grant application process
- offers specialist support to Trust-funded award holders throughout the lifetime of their grants
- provides high quality information to the Trust's funding committees to help them make fair and informed funding decisions on behalf of the Trust
- applies collaborative and cooperative approaches to working with other Trust staff.
Its role is to ensure that the most effective grant funding policies, procedures and systems are in place to manage the Trust's grant-giving operations, to help the Trust meet its broader strategic aims, and to provide high-quality advice to our funding divisions and the external community.
