Engaging Science grants workshops

Engaging Science is a grants programme offering over £3 million per year to support projects that engage the public with biomedical science and its social contexts.

We are offering free grants workshops for those interested in applying.

Workshop dates, timings and locations

Upcoming workshops will take place in:

Dublin – Thursday 25 March (venue TBC)

The workshop will start at 10.30 and finish by 17.00.

Workshop contents

You will get further information on our Engaging Science grant schemes (People, Arts, Society and Broadcast Development Awards), including an overview of the grants programme, the aims and objectives of the awards, and details of the application and review process.

Highlights

How to produce an appropriate grant application
Exchange ideas and develop partnerships and collaborations
The chance to meet previous and existing grantholders and hear their experiences, from the application process right through to running and completing a successful project
Individual grant surgeries with Wellcome Trust staff from each of the Engaging Science grants schemes
A session on how to get suitable scientific input into your project.

Reserving places

Please use our online registration page to reserve your place. Sessions are free to attend, but you need to book your place in advance.
