FREE experiment kits for all UK schools

The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games are an opportunity to witness countless extraordinary feats of the human body. How do athletes move so fast or jump so high? How do they get ‘in the zone’, and what happens inside our bodies and minds when we take part in sport, performance or dance?

To help explore these issues, free In the Zone investigation kits were sent to all UK schools and colleges in spring 2012. There is a version for ages 4-11 and another tailored to ages 11-19. The kits are designed to provide teachers with everything they need to deliver inspiring practical science lessons inspired by London 2012 and the amazing human body.
