Other personal awards

These grant schemes provide personal support to post-graduate students as well as academics, healthcare professionals and scientist who wish to take research leave in order to develop a project in the medical humanities.

Doctoral Studentships
This scheme enables scholars to undertake up to three years of full-time research in Medical Humanities leading to a doctoral degree.

Master’s Awards
This scheme enables scholars to undertake basic training in research and methods through a one-year Master's course in Medical Humanities.

Short-term Research Leave Awards for clinicians and scientists
This scheme enables clinicians or scientists to undertake short-term, full-time research at centres or departments with expertise in medical humanities.
