University College London Clinical Research Facility

Targeting cancer, cardiovascular disease, obesity and diabetes.

The new Clinical Research Facility will be based at UCL Hospital within the new Ambulatory Care Centre, linked to two specialist units, one based at Great Ormond Street Hospital (research in children) and one at Moorfields Eye Hospital (research into visual impairment).

What kind of work is conducted there?

Focus areas include cancer, cardiovascular disease, obesity and diabetes, infection and immunity, stroke and brain sciences, stem cell therapy, genetics and children and gene therapy.
