Cognitive Neuroscience and Mental Health Expert Review Group
This ERG will consider requests for support to improve understanding of how the brain functions at the cognitive level, and to find improved approaches for treating brain and mental health disorders. Its remit includes:
- Systems-based research including cognition and behavioural neuroscience
- Neurological disorders
- Mental health disorders
- Translational neuroscience, including cognitive interventions
- Genetics with detailed clinical phenotypic assessments

Investigator Award and senior level fellowship applications are processed three times a year. Applicants are advised to allow at least four months from submission of a main application to their preferred start date and also to take into account the meeting dates of the relevant Expert Review Group and Interview Panel.
