Our policy and advocacy work: Getting involved

We work with policymakers both in the UK and internationally, in order to help ensure that the funding and regulatory environment enables biomedical research and its application for health benefit to flourish.

We conduct advocacy work on a broad array of policy topics - from government funding for science, through to open access publishing, research careers, and key regulatory developments at UK and European level - working in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders. Further information about our policy work

We adopt an evidence-based approach to our policy work and actively seek to engage the research communities we support in order to ensure that our messages are targeted most effectively on the issues that affect their work. We are always keen to hear from researchers with an interest in current or emerging policy issues, or who are interested in working with us on particular topics.
