#58: Tissues with large but variable energy demands, such as skeletal muscle, spermatozoa and the brain, store energy for instant availability as phosphocreatine. This reversibly transfers a phosphate group to adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to make adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
