In the student activity, students are encouraged to think about how the brain works, how it controls behaviour and whether we are always fully responsible for our actions. Using specially commissioned podcasts, students can also consider how science is reported in the media.

The activity is supported by background material, including two podcasts - these can be listened to online or downloaded onto an MP3 player - plus support notes for you and your students, linked to below and from the students’ page.
