  • functions of the regions of the human brain's cerebral hemispheres
  • functional images produced by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and computerised tomography (CT) scans.

Psychology, for example:

  • physiological psychology, e.g. brain and behaviour, biological rhythms, sleep and dreaming, and motivation
