The Musical Brain (Friends of the Nash Ensemble)
To explore the effects of music on the brain for yourself, check out 'The Musical Brain', a project funded by a Wellcome Trust People Award that will explore what happens in the brain when we listen to and create music. Led by composer and music therapist Nigel Osborne, the event will include lectures, workshops, open rehearsals, discussions and concerts. It is part of respected chamber group the Nash Ensemble’s first ever festival, being held at Windsor Great Park, Windsor on 14-16 August 2009.
