Conditions of entry
- The competition is open to students in full- or part-time education studying A levels or equivalent worldwide aged 16-20 (at 26 October 2008).
- Entries must be spoken in English and must be the original work of the applicant(s).
- The competition is not open to any person directly or indirectly connected with or funded by the Wellcome Trust or the direct family of any Wellcome Trust employees or contractors.
- Entrants must provide the Wellcome Trust with details of their name, address and school/college name and address.
- Only one entry is permitted per entrant/ group of entrants but there is no limit to the number of entries submitted by students at any individual school or college.
- The judges' decisions are final and binding, and neither the judges nor the Wellcome Trust will be obliged to enter into correspondence about the results.
- The Wellcome Trust reserves the right to disqualify any application.
- The prizes must be taken as stated; there is no cash alternative.
- Deadline for applications is 26 October 2008.
- Winners will be notified by the end of December 2008.
- Prizes must be claimed by the end of January 2009.
- Winners must provide the Wellcome Trust with contact details of a teacher at their school, for example their science teacher, for distribution of the prize.
- The competition is administered by the Wellcome Trust.
- The Wellcome Trust is collecting the personal information requested in order to administer the competition.
- Videos and personal information detailed with them will be retained by the Wellcome Trust only until the competition has been fully completed (no later than 31 December 2009), except for the winning video and personal information given by the winners), which the Wellcome Trust may retain in perpetuity.

- Copyright of each video remains vested in the entrant, but entrants grant the Wellcome Trust and a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to publish videos and name/address details.
- Entrants will be deemed to have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound to them when entering the competition.
- The competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
