Living and Dying: Wellcome Trust Gallery at the British Museum

Funded by a £5.4 million grant from the Wellcome Trust, and drawing on the British Museum's extraordinary ethnographic collections, this innovative gallery explores the diverse ways in which people deal with life's everyday challenges, achieve wellbeing for themselves and their communities, and come to terms with death.

' Living and Dying', which won the Museums and Heritage Show 2004 Award for Excellence for best permanent exhibition, features works from all over the world, including a striking anti-AIDS poster from Tanzania.
