The Wellcome Trust supports research of the highest quality with the aim of improving human and animal health, and our Strategic Plan provides the framework for how we intend to evolve our support to be even more effective in achieving this aim.

Strategic Plan 2010-20

Our decision to develop a ten-year Strategic Plan for 2010-20 [PDF 967KB] reflects the long-term view we take in supporting research and the complex and global nature of the challenges that we face.

Strategy development is an on-going process at the Wellcome Trust, within the broad framework provided by our ten-year Plan. We provide updates on our Strategic Plan every two years, which describe our progress in furthering our vision and emerging priorities.
