Assessment Framework Report 2009/10
The Wellcome Trust's Assessment Framework was established to enable progress to be tracked against our ten key indicators of progress set out in our 'Strategic Plan 2005-2010' - providing key information to help us understand the impact of the work we fund and how we are making a difference.
The 'Assessment Framework Report' - which is contained in two volumes - has been produced annually since 2005/06. From 2009/10, the Assessment Framework will track our achievements as outlined by the six outcome measures and 12 indicators of progress detailed our new Strategic Plan for 2010-2020: 'Extraordinary Opportunities'.
Volume 1 includes qualitative and quantitative data from across the Trust, describing outputs and achievements associated with Trust activities.
Volume 2 presents a series of research profiles ('highlights' and 'histories'), which are research narratives intended to complement more quantitative output-based information, and provide a more detailed picture of how Trust-funded activity is making a difference.
