4. The Wellcome Trust’s 75th anniversary
2011 marks our 75th anniversary. During the year we will be highlighting the work of some of the people who have been central in helping us pursue our vision, as well as celebrating with an exciting series of events through the summer.

5. Bloggers, Tweeters, the Trust needs you!
Are you an avid blogger? Has Twitter or Facebook facilitated discussions and collaborations about your work? If so, we’d like to hear from you and how people are using new media in their professions (we do our bit with a blog, Twitter, Facebook page and YouTube channel) and would love to involve you or highlight your channels. So tweet us or email the blog Editor, Mun-Keat Looi.

6. ‘High Society’
Wellcome Collection's major winter exhibition, ' High Society', explores the role of mind-altering drugs in history and culture, challenging the perception that drugs are a disease of modern life. The exhibition runs until Sunday 27 February 2011.

7. Clinical Trials Methodology Conference 2011 – hold the date
