E-health funding

In 2012 the Wellcome Trust joined a consortium of UK Government and charity funders to award £19 million to establish four e-health research centres of Excellence in London, Manchester, Dundee and Swansea.

In 2007, the Wellcome Trust led a partnership of funders – including the Economic and Social Research Council, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and the Medical Research Council – to support work to develop and use electronic resources in health research.Proposals were invited for research, training programmes and public engagement activities.
