Public Health Research Data Forum

The Public Health Research Data Forum brings together more than 20 funders of global health research from around the world who are working in partnership to increase the availability and use of health research data in ways that are equitable, ethical and efficient, and will accelerate improvements in public health.

Case studies

The following case studies illustrate how enabling timely and appropriate access to the datasets generated by public health and epidemiology research can advance research and its application for health and societal benefit.

Latest Forum activities

The Forum has its basis in a joint statement launched on 10 January 2011, which was published in the 'Lancet'.

We are committed to engaging as broad a base of funders in these discussions as possible, and the statement will remain open for other funding organisations to join as signatories and partners over time.

We would welcome feedback at any time from the community with respect to priorities for this work. If you would like to share your views or are considering becoming a partner, please contact David Carr at the Wellcome Trust.
