Structure

The Wellcome Trust is composed of six divisions: Directorate; Science Funding; Technology Transfer; Medical Humanities and Engagement; Operations; and Investment.

Divisions

Directorate Comprises the Director's Office and Strategic Planning and Policy Unit.

Science Funding Develops scientific strategy and manages the Wellcome Trust's portfolio of scientific research.

Technology Transfer Facilitates the development of early-stage projects to maximise the impact of research innovations on healthcare.

Medical Humanities and Engagement  Fosters understanding of medicine and its role in society, past, present and future.

Investment Manages the Wellcome Trust's asset base.

Operations Provides a wide range of internal support services covering human resources, legal, finanace, facilities management, information technology and grants management.
