The following committees have an advisory role or hold decision-making authority for the Wellcome Trust.

||
Responsible for interviewing Investigator Award candidates in Medical History and Humanities and Ethics and Society; has delegated authority to make funding decisions. | ||
Responsible for selecting Investigator Award candidates in Medical History and Humanities for interview by the Medical Humanities Selection Panel and for selecting Fellowship candidates for interview. | ||
Responsible for selecting Investigator Award candidates in Ethics & Society for interview by the Medical Humanities Selection Panel and for selecting Fellowship candidates for interview. | ||
Responsible for interviewing fellowship candidates on the recommendation of the Medical History and Humanities Expert Review Group; has delegated authority to make funding decisions. | ||
Responsible for interviewing fellowship candidates on the recommendation of the Ethics and Society Expert Review Group; has delegated authority to make funding decisions. | ||
Responsible for considering applications for cataloguing, conserving, preserving and digitising externally held archives pertaining to medical history; has delegated authority to make funding decisions. | ||
Public Engagement |

Technology Transfer |

Makes funding decisions on all Strategic Translation Awards. It also advises the Trust on strategy in relation to technology transfer | |||
Makes decisions on Translation Award proposals and recommendations to the Technology Transfer Strategy Panel on all Strategic Translation Awards | |||
Makes funding decisions on all Seeding Drug Discovery Awards. | |||
