Graduate Development Programme: Technology Transfer
Ever wondered how good ideas get turned into healthcare products?
The Technology Transfer division helps to bridge the gap between fundamental research and commercial application by funding applied research and development projects up to a stage where they are attractive to a follow-on funder, such as venture capital firms, industry and public-private partnerships. We have supported projects across a diverse range of applications in healthcare, from medical devices, diagnostics and therapeutics to vaccines, regenerative medicine and enabling technologies. Our key criterion is that projects must address an unfilled medical need.
This placement offers a unique opportunity to engage with scientific and medical as well as legal and business development professionals. As part of the Technology Transfer team, you will gain insight into how we evaluate project applications, conduct due diligence, structure funding agreements and manage funded projects while drawing on our extensive global networks within academia, industry and a host of governmental and non-governmental agencies.
Come and see for yourself what is takes to turn good ideas into healthcare products.
