Graduate Development Programme: Medical Humanities and Engagement Directorate

The Trust's Medical Humanities and Engagement division aims to explore medicine in its historical and cultural contexts. We have nine different departments, including education, Wellcome Trust communications, grant making in the medical humanities and public engagement, Wellcome Collection and the Wellcome Library.

The MH&E Directorate is a small team responsible for the leadership and operational management of the division, which has around 150 staff and a budget of £30 million. During your time working in the Director's office, you will be at the centre of things, gaining experience of how priorities are balanced and managed across a range of activities. You will also get an insight into how a major division of the Trust is run and how strategies are developed, implemented and evaluated. You will experience some or all of desk-based research, budget management, project management, evaluation and communications. By the end of your rotation, you will have worked on a discreet project, which will develop your research, communication and networking skills, working both in a small team and as part of a large division.

We are looking for bright individuals to join our team who are keen to learn and willing to contribute their ideas, energy and creativity.
