Graduate Development Programme: Medical Humanities and Engagement - Education/Special Projects
We believe that the Trust's vision - of extraordinary improvements in human and animal health - can only be realised if there is both a sustainable supply of high-quality scientists and a wider population that can embrace, challenge and respond to the innovation and development that science and technology bring about. We can make a unique contribution to improving science education and experiences for all, by building on our independence and our commitment to support world-class scientific research and to foster a popular appreciation of the value of science in everyday life and culture.
We are therefore committed to producing inspiring, high-quality science education and engagement activities that reach young people, schools and the wider public. Our work has extraordinary and far-reaching outcomes, takes numerous approaches and is often done in partnership with a variety of leading organisations and individuals: from the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, local Camden schools, Steve Redgrave, Guardian Professional, the BBC and Channel 4, to poets, universities, the Department for Education and Science Learning Centres.
During your time with the Education and Special Projects teams you will gain experience in areas such as project management, communications, research and policy work, with a central focus on public engagement and learning.
We are looking for bright, creative people to join our teams who are themselves interesting, offer fresh perspectives and keen to learn constantly and have fun!
