Graduate Development Programme: Wellcome Library

Part of Wellcome Collection, the Wellcome Library is one of the world's greatest cultural treasures: a unique and irreplaceable collection that documents medicine and its role in society, past and present.

In 2009 we embarked on a five-year transformation strategy to create a groundbreaking digital library, allowing open access to our collections online, and building our profile as a major cultural destination as well as a world-class academic research library.

During your time in the Library you will be based in the Discovery and Engagement team, where you will gain an understanding of how we promote our collections and make them accessible to diverse audiences, through both our web presence and reading room services. You will be actively involved in a user-focused project relating to service improvement, audience development, or increasing physical or virtual access.
