Printing

In order to access certain file types you may have to download software.

PDF files
Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) files are usually electronic versions of printed documents that can be downloaded from websites, sent via email and printed on most printers.

To view PDF files, Acrobat Reader software needs to be installed on your computer. This application is small, easy to install and available free from the Adobe website.

Video files
Digital video files on the Wellcome Trust website will normally be Flash files. The Flash Player plug-in may already be included in your browser; if not, Flash Player is available for free from the Adobe website.

Telnet

The Wellcome Library Online Catalogue can be accessed via the Library website or via Telnet - please log in as 'library'.

For Telnet, you require a Telnet application on your computer that is configured with your web browser. If you are unsure of your browser's compatibility with Telnet, consult your system administrator.
